In the video below you can see why Grundfos is a part of the HEPWAT project:

Grundfos is one of the world’s leading pump manufactures, with an annual production of more than 16 million pump units. Circulator pumps for heating and air-conditioning as well as other centrifugal pumps for the industry, water supply, sewage and dosing are the main products.
Why do we participate in the HEPWAT project?
Grundfos participate in the HEPWAT project to be part of developing the future wastewater network and treatment plant solutions where the 2 parts are combined and optimized as one unit, which is a new direction in the industry.
This new direction has great potential around the world in terms of saving resources in the process of moving and cleaning the wastewater, which is one of the future requirement for saving energy and recirculate water.
Grundfos will contribute with our knowledge on pumping systems, hydraulic models, hydrogen sulfide abatement and our intelligent pumps and controllers, with the aim to optimize the energy and time spend by Assens utility in the operation of the wastewater network.
Further Grundfos will contribute to create clarity on where are industrial sewage and private sewage in the network via our dedicated controller’s flow calculation which enables knowledge of how much is moved in the network without installing a flowmeter and at the same time the dedicated controller can help Assens utility save energy on moving the wastewater to the treatment plant.

Further Grundfos are in the project due to the 3 professional partners, Assen’s utility, Krüger and Artogis to establish a better relationship and to develop the future solution together.
